First off, I want to point out that the ebook will always be free at nosleepebook.com.

I’m excited to announce that the first physical copy of -30- Press Quarterly (formerly the NoSleep eBook) is available at Amazon! Click here to see the book.

The Best of 2016 issue is coming out in the next few weeks in both free ebook and print form AND we plan on partnering with narrators to make an audio version of each book.

Here’s the link to the NEW official ebook site.

This issue of the NoSleep eBook is the longest one to date! Almost all the winners and runners up were stories with over 5 parts, each reproduced here in full. These stories are about loss; the loss of sanity, the loss of a loved one immediately before a wedding. You’ll hear from a man mourning the loss of an anticipated vacation before mourning much, much more. Another an struggles against losing the entire life he’s worked for. In one of the strangest stories, a family tries to understand the loss of a hot air balloon crew.

Leave your flashlight at home, brew yourself some afternoon tea, turn off your radio, and feed the pig; this is the NoSleep eBook!

I’m re-releasing this issue of tthe ebook because one of the authors has asked to have some stories removed in order to make future publication more possible. I’ve also completely reworked the mobile files and the PDF. Click here to go to the NEW NOSLEEPEBOOK.COM to download the always free NoSleep eBook.

Hello, your friend here with some exciting news!

I’ve got the new ebook site up and running! This site is bigger, better, and should show up better in Google searches. Also, I can do cool stuff like have a cover slideshow.

This site will remain up for at least a year until readership switches over to the new site. Please move your bookmarks now, though!

Some new features:

  • I’ve re-released the first issue of the science fiction magazine JUMP: Strange Tales of Things to Come. The content is the same, but all file formats have been updated for easier reading.
  • Ads for NoSleep authors and other related content.
  • Alternate links for AZW3 (Kindle) files. Apparently Kindles can’t download from Google Drive without an intermediate step, but they can download from MediaFire. MediaFire, though, has a silly interface and an ad-laden download page. Now you can have your pick. If you want to transfer the file to your Kindle from your computer, use the Google Drive link and bypass the ads. If you want to download directly to mobile, use the MediaFire. Everybody’s happy!

Things still to come:

  • Links (with my silly pulp ads) to NoSleep, the NoSleep podcast, and other buddy sites.
  • The upcoming 2016 – Issue 2.
  • A NoSleep Teams ebook! (Still in discussion.)

Head on over to the new site and check it out or try out some of these fine selections from NoSleep authors.

THE NEW HOME OF THIS EBOOK IS NOSLEEPEBOOK.COM!

When I released the first issue of JUMP, I was a novice at making ebooks. The technical component of JUMP didn’t match the quality of the stories inside. This reissue should work better with all devices, but the PDF has been completely redesigned and is now free of any readability issues. Happy reading!

The lulls between drop dates of the nosleep eBook can get pretty bad, especially when you’re a long time fan. Four books a year just isn’t enough! As a solution, I’d like to introduce JUMP: Strange Tales of Things to Come. JUMP is a science fiction-centric magazine, but don’t be fooled into thinking it’s all chrome and lasers. Jump can mean more than traversing space and time and there are plenty of dark crawlspaces on an interstellar vessel for nefarious creatures to inhabit.

Get your fix of dark fiction between eBooks with JUMP!

Need more science fiction? Try my personal favorite, Cloud Atlas; a new novel, Dark Matter, from the author of the Wayward Pines series, or a short horror story from one of the authors featured in this ebook.

This is the first ever NoSleep eBook from almost five years ago. The contests had just started, the number of subscribers was at least one order of magnitude smaller, and NoSleep had recently changed from being a repository for creepy pictures to what it is today. Instead of the usual 12 stories that are crammed into the current eBook, there were only three winners and one runner up for the entire quarter. Two of them – Penpal and Jesus Camp – are titles almost every author on NoSleep has heard of, if not read, and the stories that inspired current authors to write the quality content we have today.

The Penpal story you’ll find in this issue is the raw version as it was originally posted. Dathan Auerbach has edited, added to, and enhanced his story since that time. The published version can be found on Amazon by following this link.

What would you do if you had an extra 6 minutes today? Would you investigate your grandmother’s doll collection? Maybe check out the library basement? Or would you download the first issue of the NoSleep eBook for 2016?

This installment will make you question the strange experiences of children, even your own memories of odd occurrences. Was there really something to your imaginary friend or the fanciful creatures you thought you saw? Once you’ve resolved that as best you can, we’ll take you deeper into the pains of household arguments and deaths in the family.

Decide quickly; your 6 minutes is almost up.

99% of us will enjoy this issue of the NoSleep eBook. The other 1%, they’re special. They’re not interested in walking through a lonely wood and listening to light whistles carried on the night air or pondering the ethereal beauty of a staircase rising from the pine needles. They don’t have any interest in recalling their pop song earworms from years ago, nor do they care to read up on the latest sleep studies. This 1% is not like us; they have no idea of the darkness that lurks beneath the surface of our favorite pastimes, the secret dangers of our mundane careers, or the horrifying truth of Prescott Mountain.

Get your fill of the darkness you crave with Issue 4 of the NoSleep eBook. The new voting system allows for all three months of the fourth quarter (October, November, and December) AND the Best of 2015 contest, so this is the biggest issue of the NoSleep eBook ever!

This issue is all about sharing, and the dangers it can bring. What does it mean for relationship when you find out you’ve been sharing your bed with something not quite human? What horrors can befall an innocent English teacher who asks students to share stories with the class? What happens when you share your younger brothers texts without his permission or receive a plain, taped-up shoe box in the mail? Find out in this issue of the NoSleep eBook!
